MyLVC - Your Portal to Email, Canvas, Access and more

MyLVC is your online resource to access email, grades, billing statements, Canvas, and to register on-line for courses. Access to MyLVC requires a user name (provided by the College) and password which you create.
- To Login to MyLVC:
  - Go to the LVC home page at www.lvc.edu Links to an external site.
  - Click on the My LVC logo (top of the page)
  - Enter your user name and password
- What will I find in MyLVC?
  - LVC Email - Log on to MyLVC, select the Microsoft 365 icon from the menu, login using your LVC login information.
    
    Your LVC email address will be the primary method used for official college communications. We strongly encourage you to forward your LVC email to your primary email account.

- Access LVC - Access LVC allows students to access academic and billing information. Access LVC is the online registration tool for students and has up to date information on course schedules as well as your Progress towards degree completion.
  - New students are registered by the Program Director for their initial course selections
  - Returning students (undergrad coming back and students who have successfully completed courses) will be able to complete online registration during Open Registration. Registration reminders and instructions are emailed to all MS EXSC students in the weeks leading up to the registration period. Students may register for a course until the day before the course begins. - Canvas - Canvas is LVCs Learning Management System (LMS). Considering you are reading this page, you already figured out how to access Canvas. Each of your classes will have a separate Canvas course where instructors will load lectures, assignments, enter grades - in other words, all manner of course related information and resources. Canvas is the communication tool used for courses. Some of the tabs commonly used in courses are - announcements, assignments, discussions, grades, and syllabus. The Syllabus tab will take you to an electronic version of your syllabus and a printable/downloadable version as well. Canvas Help is a great way to get answers quickly - we find they are very responsive.
