Certifications:
Various organizations offer certifications. The MS Degree programs align with certifications through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
- For the Clinical Exercise Physiology program, the completion of all course work and 600 hours of internship meets the ACSMs eligibility requirements for the Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist® (ACSM-CEP) Links to an external site. certification. Students may also elect to certify through the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Links to an external site. (AACVPR)
- For the Sport Performance program, the NSCAs Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists® (CSCS®) Links to an external site. is strongly suggested before internships. You may choose to follow a different agency. Refer to the summary of agencies and costs below.
